Perhaps Vybik could erect a temporary stall in Birmingham for you...

I've not seen it reviewed anywhere so I would imagine not, if Amazon don't have it no one does. Unless they are selling direct to some specialists.

Thanks Ian and Squid,

If I don't find anywhere (and I'm not expecting to) in the next few days, I'll wave bye bye to my fading dreams of 'discovery' of Cope discs in the Record Shop and get my 'credit card' out to splash the cash at the HH store (again - sigh).

About PR - listened to the opening tune on youtube and especially liked the way the Cannock born woman said 'fffucker' (as in 'spike some fffcukers' tonight). Really good enunciation and effuckt.

It was reviewed in The Sunday Times just gone - "Nutter still has pop sensibilities and ear for a good tune. Some shit as well."

I think the music ed of the ST must be some kind of fifth columnist (no pun intended). Two of their albums of the week this year have been overtly anti capitalist (Ani Difranco and Anais Mitchell) and now they review PR as well when they have no real need to. Perhaps Laurie Penny or Nicholas Lezzard are moonlighting for NI as rock critics!

I'm one of those expats who decided to hooktail it off the fair island(s) of GB to a place too far afield, but as I'm coming back on holiday to take the family to various sites and places of interest in Wales and England, I'm wondering if there is any chance of finding 'Psychedelic Revolution' in a (sssshhhh) shop. We enter Brum for a while and I know that The Tempest is not there (a possible location), but wondered if anywhere else would be possible. I've ordered stuff direct from Head Heritage before, but I want 'the experience', 'the discovery' in a record shop.

BUT I don't want to spend too much time in London. Shame there wasn't a shop in Avebury!

Any pointers - I want the discovery in a record shop!

Some of the other HH releases have appeared in HMV shops, such as 'Problem...' and Black Sheep', so this one may also appear there too given time, that is if there are any shops still left open in Britain by the time you arrive, apart from charity shops of course.

It does have a barcode on the front (back?) which suggests HH are keeping their options open!

Kid Calamity,

Thanks a million - I wil enter Swordfish shop dripping with pounds willing to be spent. Hopefully I will 'discover' Psychedelic Revolution' this way - and then, when I return, buy the Jehovahvoat demos or Drain'd Boner on HH mail order;-)

Many thanks!

Gromoire.

This pleases me as I hate buying stuff online (I've had to depend on friends and family for recent Cope releases).

Absolutely loving this album - even better than Black Sheep after the first few listens. Just a question though, was this supposed to come with a card sleeve, a la most other recent Cope albums? Mine didn't - just the jewel case.

Nice one Mr Cope, Cromwell In Ireland, Revolutionary Man, As The Beer Flows Over Me and the title track are utterly amazing and there's still lots to play to death yet.

Give X-Mass another whirl, it's top trumps!
Mine didn't have the sleeve either and I ordered 4 days after release, so I'd imagine it's a no. Strange, but I won't miss getting terminally stressed when the little tabs on the spine side start to curl and little dents appear on the opening side and oh my god I need to break out the tea towels and iron my Black Sheep sleeve now.
