Sure Ian won't mind me mentioning- Lunar Dunes' "Galaxsea" made the end of Year polls in the lists of Classic Rock presents Prog writers. Geoff Barton and Chris Welch put "Galaxsea" at 10 and 4 in their end of year top 20 repectively so well done tha 'Dunes. Not normally a mag I buy -£7.99?!!! - but had to own it for the sumptious Kate Bush covers and articles inside. I'd only buy it for woo Kate xx

Well done Lunar Dunes!! A very worthy recognition. BTW, I was life drawing last night. We all scribbled languidly to the lush grooves of Lunar Dunes alter egos Solus3. 'The Sky Above The Roof'.

Not least the fact that the new Benoit fronted Yes album seems to be commonly held to be a work of substance rather than the kind of boring, rehashed 80s sounding tat that Trevor Rabin would put his name to. By all means look back to past glories but surely not *those* past glories. A record made with an American market in mind that no longer exists I would wager. Anyway .... Still I ain't complaining if people liked the Dunes record enough to make it a top tenner though the SOLUS3 record is the far more progressive of the two in my opinion. You'd have trouble convincing some Prog people that you can be Prog with three women in the band and without having a featured guitarist or keyboard player. More mullets, beer guts, double-necks (and chins) are clearly what we need!

Yes should stop fannying about. Get back with Jon Anderson - it'll happen I'm sure. We all know they don't mind reuniting with the right cheque thrown at them - and just do what other vintage bands have been doing; make 'the most absurdly like them with knobs on' record they can. Something that makes Topographic Oceans look like The Ramones (no disprespect to the Ramones btw).

Can't honestly say I've bought that mag more than once (the psychedelic issue they put out back in 2008 that turned me on to Cromagnon, among others), but with the volume of stuff being released nowadays it's an achievement to get mainstream media coverage at all, especially positive coverage.
