But kept going back and grew to love it however, I still love stuff like Audentity, X etc, and even enjoyed the Dark Side of the Moog sets

X is a good album, and a lovely item especially on vinyl! I like the royal festival hall live cds from the 90's too. As with TD you just have to tread carefully, there are some gems buried amongst the questionable stuff!

I recently picked up Moondawn, found it hidden with the Tangerine Dream lps at a used shop. Wasn't bad, but wasn't mind blowing. Sounds like the earlier stuff is more to my taste.

The thing with KS is that I think his music takes a while to get into. I first got Cyborg out of my local library in the early 80s. I bought "Timewind" and "Blackdance" also around this time. However, I have only really got into his music in the last year or so. Something has clicked for me - I think you have to be hyper patient with this music as it evolves really slowly. It lacks the hooks you get even in the more demanding Tangerine Dream releases. I have also been enjoying the massive 50CD Ultimate Edition which in my opinion eclipses a lot of the original album releases (especially the 1970s stuff). The 50CD set is beyond the means of most but it is currently being reissued in chronological sequence in the La Vie Electronique series. Some of these CDs are also available to hear on Spotify.
