Then I liked what I heard but thought "fuck they sound like Fire On Fire". Yup, you know the rest - they ARE Fire On Fire. Looks like I've got 14 albums to find when time and finances permit. Damn you, Sin! :)

Mornin', Ming! They've got virtually everything they've ever recorded up on WFMU's archive site: http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Big_Blood/ (legal & etc.) If your belt's gettin' a little tight, I'd recommend buying one or two then grabbing some of the others off there if you've still got an itch for more (you will). My ever-shifting ranking: Space Gallery BB & The Bleedin Hearts Sew Your Wild Days Tour Vol. I (Vitamin C cover!) Dark Country Magic Cerberus Shoal - This Land We All Believe In Alvarius B/Cerberus Shoal The Grove Sew Your Wild Days 2 Strange Maine 2007 Operators and Things Already Gone 1+2 Strange Maine '06 I'll stop there... Just heard their new one the other day, BB & The Wicked Hex (sounds like a Harry Potter rip-off). It's got some grinding hard rock riffs that I'm not sure go with their style, but they can do no wrong. Sure I'll warm to it soon. I dunno if you've heard of Cerberus Shoal? They were a kinda post-rocky krautrocky outfit that eventually mutated into something like the Big Blood we know and love. BB are a bit like Circle in that they prob write several tracks a day and have to put together a dozen side-projects to play them all. Hey, what's that muse there for if not to milk the fucker dry? None of those records are actually live, by the way. More anti-commercial shenanigans! They released probably my favourite epic song of all time. It's in that Alvarius B (Sun City Girls/Sublime Frequencies founder) split and it's called Ding. It'll probably take half a year to upload (it's about 30 minutes long) but it's so gottdamned beautiful it'll be worth the effort. For now, a morning mini-EP of sublime Big Blood tracks (you know, I don't think I'd ever heard the words Big and Blood in that combination before I discovered this band). Coming Home part 3 Oh Country Glory Daze Graceless Lady

OK, I'm a bit of a clueless noob when it comes to uploading Youtube vids so this took a bit of an age to do. It seems to be working, though. Cerberus Shoal (a.k.a proto-Big Blood) - Ding part 1 Cerberus Shoal - Ding part 2 Hope you enjoy it!

Is no Dead Songs an oversight or are all these even better? If so I'm in for a treat! I don't like it as much as the other I have (Dark Country Magic), but it's still got some fine moments. The Wicked Hex one was only available on vinyl (and a bit on the expensive side) so I didn't order that one but otherwise I pretty much went for it! ; ) Sin Agog wrote: Coming Home Pt 3 is indeed a great song. Just listening to the other links you posted... I love this one, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YHu4pMrQiQ
