I was just wondering what people here considered neccessary out of Yoko Ono's lps. Also if there was likely to be a set of remasters about to happen since Apple seems to be reissuing everything else on the label. The last remasters came out around the time the Onobox was released in '97.

First lp the Yoko Ono one from the 2 nearly matching sleeve Plastic Ono Band lps has some resemblance to Malcolm Mooney era Can. I just read a review comparing one of the tracks from Fly to Tago Mago. Not sure if that's a feeling that runs through all of her lps.

Think what had me thinking of her was a comparison of neccessity between her 1st 4 lps and Throbbing Gristle's run of lps in a thread on them on another list. Could be on the basis of difficult listening being somewhat addictive. Not sure what else fits into that category, some of the NWW list? & presumably the more music concrete bits of Can?
