The Psychic Paramount - II

Yeah bro, yeah.

As for the least worst albums that crash landed this year IMHO would be:

Fister - Bronsonic
Fister split w/ The Lion's Daughter - And Their Masters Bled For Days
Thee Ohsees - Carrion Crawler/The Dream

And a handful of the other stuff y'all said'afore. i.e. Data Shock and Black Pyramid

If I had to narrow that large list to only 5 things this year you'd still be on it Fred.

In all honesty I would say the exact same thing!
Stations of the Ghost is in my top-5 for 2011 also. (I hate to add that it's also right there with the Ghost album Opus Eponymous... but hey, we can't agree on EVERYTHING!

The Devil's Blood - The Thousandfold Epicentre. Occult melodi-rock at it's best

Really liked what I've just heard of The Time Of No Time Evermore, so just used a crimbo voucher to order The Thousandfold Epicentre. Thanks for the tip Moonie, much obliged (again).

I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It's got all the elements of the first album but with a slightly more expansive and ambitious feel to it.

Definitely on my "must have" list based on the strength of Time of No Time Evermore.

Darn, I still haven't got that. Another one for the purchasing of, and Mrs Squid is getting a bit uppity about the zillions of CD and record-shaped packages I have received of late...

Perhaps you should be more discreet about packages being thrust upon you.

Erm...another late late entry but by Odin's beard this was bound to happen what with gettin' albums at Crimble and so on...

Anyhoo,

Justice - Audio Video Disco. Fantastically absurd and audacious. Gallic dance duo throw caution completely to the wind and go mad and make possibly the worlds first Medieval Prog Rock Techno Dance Mash AOR fest that channels Queen, AC/DC, King Crimson, Underworld and disco, usually within the same song. Just had me grinning like a loon all the way through. Fantastic!
