Leave him alone. The lad's got to have a hobby, ain't he? And it's gotta a whole lot healthier than scouring these threads waiting for Tonestone to show up. I think you have an unhealthy interest in him.

I have ZERO interest in that pestilence other than the occasional bitch slappin' upside his nappy head that he seems to require in a regular manner.

Yeah, the 'Warrior' vinyl has an epic fold out sheildy thing, that i have to drag out now and again just to gawp at and bemoan the generaly crappy state of record packaging nowadays. Though looking at Alan Moore's Unearthing box set thingy, the triple vinyl box of Japan's 'Quiet Life' just released and Bowie's massive Station to Station extravaganza, it might be making (an expensive)come back. Hmmm, I'm guessing my word of the day is 'epic', It's cropping up quite a lot isn't it.

I did consider 'Crocodiles', I like the 'orangey' glow, but i feel it isn't quite as epic as the other three. Looking meaningfully out to sea, tramping through snow and boating in a cave seem more 'epic' to me. I still love the inner sleeve pic' of McCulloch with that guitar and crap tanktop though They tried to do something similar to Crocodiles with 'Evergreen' cover, though there's the addition of a tasty Citroen Diane, there didn't really carry it off.

And Doremi is just a fab design. As for it all coming back, since starting buying vinyl again last year, I've noticed that covers seem to be getting increasingly elaborate again. Lots of metallic finish, foldy bits, gatefolds, cut outs, coloured records, eye-goggling psychedelic patterns...all good stuff if you ask me.

May I recommend plastic album covers for any TOTP albums, which not only protect from dust and sticky fingers but also allow you to carry your album to the bathroom for a swift wipe clean as necessary.

"Hooray for Boobies" by The Bloodhound Gang. I've no idea what the album sounds like though. fnff.
