I DJ'ed at a packed indie record store late morning (cross-promotion thing with the radio station), then spent the afternoon having an impromptu band rehearsal in the parking lot of our town's most obscure and dingy record store (which also happens to be a great place to find bargains on weird stuff) -- mostly playing Dylan tunes.
I only bought 2 used LP's for a fiver (that's $5 total for both I mean):
Sandy Denny "Sandy" (1972)
George Crumb "Ancient Voices of Children" (1970; cuz it looked kinda weird and is on Nonesuch label)
Here was the set I spun at the record store -- I figured these would be good ones to cause kids to part with loot? (I totally wish I had remembered to bring The Beta Band "3 EP's" though, haha!) I tried not to be TOO geezerish . . .
Malkmus & The Jicks "Baby C'mon"
