VDGG - A Grounding in Numbers
Mar 15, 2011, 10:23
Came thumping through the door the other day, £8.99 from Play.com (probably my favourite web order site ever - sorry Pete, you need to reduce yer own site prices a bit!).

Sounds good so far, and IIRC (been a while since I listened), faring better than 'Trisector'.

Some o' the tunes are under 3 mins long, would you believe!

Anyways, anyone else heard it yet?

Didn't even know they had been in the studio TBH. Tell us more. Is it the trio or an expanded unit?

Yes, a threesome.

Here it is.

Just went for the first page that came up on 'google'.

Damn he looks like Albert Steptoe in that!

Ger's off to see 'em next week, I can't make it, but look forward to the match report!

EDIT: Notice it says release date '14th', but it actually arrived yesterday (14th), we had pre-ordered it. Didn't expect it so soon.

Peter Hamill was interviewed on The Freak Zone at the weekend with 4 tracks from the new album played. All sounded pretty good on a first hearing. Available on listen again for a few days yet:

BUMP.

Cheers for that.

Usually tune in, but other things came up on Sun.

Sounding really good more I hear it.

Still a creative force, not many after so long.

Will do the 'listen again' bit tonight over toast and a malteser drink I imagine.

:-)
