Chicago Sept 8th! Count me in! Even my wife will dig this one... she's a Neu! fan. I'm pumped for this one!

I have just bitten and bought a barbican ticket. I was abit reluctant to do so as the Harmonia gig at the Southbank was a bit lackluster. However that recording I just heard of Rother & friends finds me curious. Hope you enjoy - please post a review

Hope you enjoy - please post a review I quite enjoyed the Harmonia show myself, but I'm a little more skeptical about this even though, as a die-hard Neu! fan, I inevitably succumbed and bought a ticket. I did read that Rother was origianlly planning to tour this material under the Neu! name but was - quite rightly, in my opinion - prevented from doing so by the estate of Klaus Dinger and by Christa Fast. Had that gone ahead it would have been pure sacrilege - at least billing it as a Neu! tribute night is an honest advertisement for what we're likely to get.

I think that might be the exact (no Isi) same set. Very much a gig of two parts, sway frim hmmmm...meh to completely awesome. Often within the same track. If you've listened to that then you'll have heard my biggest quibble. The fact that he did all the none drum and bass (arf!) stuff himself kinda killed a lot fo the subtlety. He was a bloke with a guitar, laptop, tons of fx and was enjoying himself. But there was the distinct wiff of the bedroom artiste. And, then there were the points where it just took off and got seriously driving. I'll be going into this in more detail as I need to review it to pay for my ticket.
