Story goes that ZZ Top & OMD played the same European festival in the early 80s around the release of eliminator. Gibbons saw Andy McLuskey doing his trademark geography teacher at a disco stage moves and picked it up as his own. Previously hadn't moved like that.
Just in case you were wondering.

Early 70s is more my cup of tea than 80s.
