I've been digging back through my ZZ Top albums and enjoying it. Sharp Dressed Man is every bit as good as I remembered, but I'd forgotten just how good their version of I Thank you is.

They smoke. I'm not into blues or boogie but they're one-of-a-kind. Cheap Sunglasses and the inner gatefold of Tres Hombres are icons of my youth.

Hopefully people on here are faaaaaar too fabulous to mention the snippet that EVERYONE else does about ZZTop and beards - I may cry if someone does.

I think I prefer them quite a way before the o.m.d. influence.
Still wondering what the story is on Albini wanting to call Rapeman's lp Z.Z.top's First lp or something.

I think she meant the fact that 2 of them hold qualifications in primate studies, but hilariously this doesn't include Billy Gibbons!
