On my never ending Psych quest I've just received Tangerine Dream by Kaleidoscope on the doormat. What an utterly fantastic lost classic! Defintely up there with the greats of classic UK psych. If you haven't already, check it out!

Faintly Blowing and Music are 2 of my alltime fave Psych tracks. Music is too much for some people it has its Phaser set to STUN

Have you heard Faintly Blowing? That'd be in my all time psych top 10. Bloody marvellous stuff. I liked TD a lot too, but FB is the mutt's nuts.

I'm really not a fan of Peter Daltrey's vocals though a lot of the music's pretty great. Find them way too twee.

I think they fit in perfectly with the great UK psych tradition of hallucinagenic whimsy and quirky surreal childhood imagery. I've always preferred British psych to US psych because of this factor, although I do love the great US stuff as well.
