I just found out that Grong Grong's s/t Alternative tentacles lp has been reissued in majorly expanded form as To Hell'N'back. just saw an ad for it in the new Ugly things but have now seen it reviewed dating to last Feb.
They also have a MySpace page here

I've wanted to get hold of something by them since reading a mid 80s hardcore article in I think sounds, though it could have been Maximum Rock & Roll. that article went on about extreme repetition while a be-kerchiefed faced singer got totally in your face and tried to smash it into the ground. Sound references things like Flipper, Pere Ubu, Birthday Party.
Finally got to hear them here

and they do sound pretty great.
Does Julian reference them in that article from NME that was posted to a blog somewhere a couple of weeks back?
Think I need to grab this reissue. 17 track dvd sounds like a must see.
I heard that members later became Lubricated Goat & King Snake Roost. Seems like singer had an o.d and has been paralyzed ever since.
Anybody else familiar with them?

It's more or less like a rawer, more primitive Lubricated Goat, more repetitive too with not much more to the song structures than one riff. I prefer Lubricated Goat but this is pretty cool too - as is the extra dvd of rare footage.
