I suspect that may well be the case, particularly as Cubase is now pretty much part of my DNA I've used it for so long. I don't always use it in the "usual" way though - I often don't synch to the timeline frinstance.
Am I right in thinking that Ableton is good for controlling synths and patch management etc? That would certainly be handy for me in a live setting.
