Andy Powell seems to have pissed off all the former founder members to be fair Moonie.
Powell has, amongst other things, sold on the rights to a load of recordings, belonging to all past members of the band, and without any consent!
A bit naughty doncha fink?

Yes, and I didn't know that. Tis naughty I agree. But, in terms of being 'in' Wishbone Ash, the fact remains that, like it or lump it, Andy Powell, a founding member, has never been fired from, or left the band called Wishbone Ash and has consistantly recorded and toured with the band called Wishbone Ash for several decades, and that band fans have seemed happy enough to go and see and to buy the recordings thereof. The other ex-members simply cannot make the same claim. Wouldn't stop me enjoying Martin Turner's incarnation if I saw it - but in my mind, I know who has been the main Ash man since day one.

I'm not sure it is, is it? I'm sure that goes on all the times with bands and ex-members. Presumably there were contracts that ex-members had to get out of and stuff? Anyone know????

Dunno Keith. Whatever it is it's a shame such bollocky things drag bands through the mud and it rarely benefits any side in such disputes and I think it's a dampner for fans in general. Bah!

Agreed. I'm not into WA, but I'm sure most fans would just prefer there was a 'proper' line-up rather than two versions, even if the gig count might be reduced by half!

Amen! Perhaps they could sort it out in the boxing ring! Bill it as Wishbone Bash!

ps Wishbone Ash is, IMO, one of the most brilliantly of its time '70s band names ever.

I know there are some old people involved in the bands mentioned, but I don't believe they've been touring since the 40's. It might feel like it in some cases...

I think zphage has gone a bit wonky on his dates today.

Keith Richards' face looks like it's been touring since the 1840's.
