Anybody heard anything about this forthcoming book on psychedelic and acid folk? It's advertised on the back page of Forever changes the Einarson arthur Lee bio and looks like it could be interesting. stevo

Jeanette is a friend of a friend and we were just talking about this the other day. She hasn't finished it quite yet but it's due to be published for Christmas, apparently.

Damn, says August on the various sites I've seen it listed. I guess waiting another 6 months for a book I only heard of yesterday isn't that big a deal. Do hope it's worth the wait though. Not sure if there are any other books around on the subject. Some passing comment in a few other things I've read but no one source I'm aware of. stevo

Pre-ordered this from Amazon Uk a couple of weeks back, due in november if memory serves me correct. Interview here with author, click the Jeanette Leech tab. http://www.spiralearth.co.uk/attitude/editors_kelli_02.asp Clearly a woman of great taste imho as she cites Stone Breath's "The Silver Skein Unwound" as her top acid folk album

Didn't somebody say they knew her & that Nov date was overambitious and New Year was more likely. Looking forward to reading that too, & any others that appear. Is Jawbone Press related to Radioactive/Phoenix though?

Is Jawbone Press related to Radioactive/Phoenix though? Aye it was Hunter and something about a Christmas release, sounds like it'll be worth the wait either way. Haven't a clue who runs Jawbone Press though.

Just seen this is physically in shops. From a quick flick through it seems to cover most areas I'd be interested in it doing. not read it yet though.
