Rapidshare have removed my 2007 album Dog Kill Bird, two and a half years after it was posted citing a breach of terms of use as it is a copyrighted file that may not be distributed without permission of the copyright owner... How odd. Out of curiosity, has anyone seen a clone of me running around anywhere?

This happens fairly frequently on MySpace, so I'm not that surprised. Just a few weeks ago Matt Elliott (of the Third Eye Foundation) posted an understandably irate blog update about how he's been forced to remove his own music from MySpace owing to copyright claims against him filed by both EMI and Universal, even though he never personally signed a contract with either of those companies. Even had his uploading facilites suspended as well... Hopefully in your case it'll just be a temporary glitch .. do you have anything inwriting to prove you're the sole owner of the music?

Was it 'Suzie In The Sky With Saphires' or something somebody thought close to somebody else's work, or something?

in which case it'd be a crime against humanity surely, not mere copyright infraction ?
