I much prefer their earlier work as well. I had the good fortune of seeing them a lot , even managing to see "U" at the Roundhouse which I quite enjoyed even though it was not that well received. And as mentioned in the Time Machine post I saw them with Fairport at the Palladium. Those were the days when you could hop on a train and for £3 get a day return to London Town and go to the Country Club , Middle Earth , The Marquee or where ever someone good was on. On one of the times I.S.B. played Plymouth I got in early being a good friend of the DJ and chatted with Robin and played his guitar. Those were the days.
