I ordered them from Amazon UK. They're officially out on Monday, but for some reason they're sending them out earlier. I have had the remastered 'U' from a few years back, and was hoping that the classic period would get the same treatment. Along with Pentangle and The Fairports, I adore the ISB. I'm not keen on their final albums when I think the magic had gone, but right up to and including 'Liquid Acrobat' is pure timeless genius to my mind. I was born two decades too late! I also think Robin Williamson's solo work is magnificent. A genuine Bard.

I much prefer their earlier work as well. I had the good fortune of seeing them a lot , even managing to see "U" at the Roundhouse which I quite enjoyed even though it was not that well received. And as mentioned in the Time Machine post I saw them with Fairport at the Palladium. Those were the days when you could hop on a train and for £3 get a day return to London Town and go to the Country Club , Middle Earth , The Marquee or where ever someone good was on. On one of the times I.S.B. played Plymouth I got in early being a good friend of the DJ and chatted with Robin and played his guitar. Those were the days. Peace , Lubin

How wonderful. I would love to have witnessed those fantastic artists in their time. I knew someone where I work that used to hang out at UFO, and someone else who was American and went to an Acid Test and used to see The Warlocks/Grateful Dead. Om Shanti, Lubin. :-)

I think you're missing the point of originality and would point to Gilbert & Sullivan for an influence on both, very prominently in that particular song. Stevo

Very interseting point re.G & S Stevo. Hadn't occured to me before. Interesting fact: 'Amoebas are very small' comes from a conversation that Mike Heron had with his Mum whilst tripping. I like that.
