Do you know what though - and this may be a seperate thread. Now that I have hit 40, i find gigs hard work.
Saw Nick Cave in Birmingam on the Lazurus tour, and felt liked I'd been mugged by the end of it. Went to see Richard Hawley and felt a huge sense of relief when I saw the venue was seated. Used to hate seated venues.
But that's not the worst of it. I can't bring myself to admit one of my gig going stories, but it made me realise that maybe this pass time was no longer for me!
Depends what you make of it...I'm 44 and admit that I tend to see the
bands with one arm resting against the bar these days.
My head wants to get down to the front however my body tells me otherwise !
