Hi Dave, Hadn't seen that, cheers! Nice music from Mr Kerr too, not really heard anything he's done apart from ACR, etc - "Sleep Will Come" by Jez & Vini is one of my all time favourite tunes. The "Cool As Ice" 12" has been getting a fair bit of play over the last couple of days. My girlfriend bought me Hooky's book for Christmas, just finished it, it's a very good read (if a little depressing in some ways). Merry Christmas by the way! Alken

Continued listening to a few from 2009 so I can work out those end of year lists! TAROT SPORT – Fuck Buttons Street Horrsing was promising enough, but this more dancey Andrew Weatherall produced follow up is a giant leap forward. Fabulous. LANDING – Githead I've been a bit slow off the mark getting this one, but after just a few plays I prefer it to the last Wire album TBH. ONE HUNDRED AND ONE DRONES – My Broken 101 INSULT TO INJURY – The Nightingales THE GLARE – McAlmont & Nyman TOMORROW TODAY – Seeland THE MYSTERY WORKSHOP - Rebecca Joy Sharp DOS – Wooden Shjips LIQUID MERCURY 7” – The Wild Swans ALSO... ULTIMATE XMAS – Beach Boys LIVE CD (newspaper freebie) – The Bee Gees MED SUO Í EYRUM VID SPILUM ENDALAUST – Sigur Ros PHIL SPECTOR DEFINITIVE COLLECTION – V/A Great double cd that features a greatest hits selection entitled Wall Of Sound Retrospective together with the A Christmas Gift To You set. Plus some oldies by Manfred Mann, The Move and Mungo Jerry

The Fuck Buttons. Never heard of them, but the name is genius. HMV at Christmas: Grandparent: Excuse me, Miss, but do you have the latest record by the Fuck Buttons ?
