Re: UK Reggae Greats

I've never heard of {or Heard} any of those artists. I probably know less than anyone on this site about reggae. But one British artist that has allways appealed to me, made a few sucessfull stabs at the reggae genre.
In my opinion that is.....
Not exactly your time frame either. {I never seem to play by the rules, do i?}
I think that he may even like Clapton, thus making him immediately suspect.....but here go's:
Eric Burden.
Here's the examples of why i thought so at the time, and still do.

The old Jimmy Cliff nugget 'Many Rivers to Cross'. I think eric's version kills,
From the 'Before we were so rudely interrupted' LP 1977

And this one. 'Power Company' From the 'Last Drive' LP 1980

Dey Won't from the 'Comeback' LP 1982

Love is for all time, from the 'ARK' LP 1983

I bet i was only one here who bought these albums back then...but there you have it. Another ERIC !!!
