What I'm getting at is that I still see it as every new generations job to despise, and react and create against the cultural output and opinions of their parents generation. They can get into the 'good stuff' when they've grown up. This could be cos I grew up in the post-punk, Thatchers britain etc, etc era.

Seriously, when I see kids in Iron Maiden shirts, or even worse with Jim Morrison on their chest, I fear for the cultural future of us all.
