That was probably the first Clapton I heard, that is the one with the lassie with lipstick writing on the back. This guitar hero our elders had constantly gone on about releases an album of MOR twiddle. Well it was to my young ears anyway, why would I want to listen to this sad old mans music when I had Judas Priest & Queen to listen too. Probably not a good start , but I've never really hit it off with him since the, theEnoch Powell thing didn't help either, nor did the Clapton at the Rainbow/ whining junkie thing . Now I come to think about it he really has got bugger all going for him has he
