I saw her live at the RFH this year - the problem I felt was that she was overplaying the avant-garde aspect of her career because it's suddenly cool and excluding her more melodic, tender side - thus underselling herself.
Anyone who's ever heard "Open Your Soul To Me" or "I Want My Love To Rest Tonight" will know what I mean.
That's the one I heard -- Approximately Infinite Universe. I really thought it was a big disappointment, even if some of the lyrics were interesting. Just didn't strike me as musically interesting, although it might've been just that Elephant's Memory were the backing band...
