Julian Cope presents Head Heritage

picked up the Island anthology thing a few years back which I think samples the 1st 3 lps plus some dub versions and as far as I recall it's pretty solid.
that's Independant Intavenshan and I think the other 2 are bass culture (with line drawing of man going downstairs)and posibly Dread, Beat An' Blood though this was done under the name Poet & The Roots which I think was the band he had before he went solo.

might roughly guess that Benjamin Zephaniah or LKJ's white parallel John Cooper clarke might also appeal Though the latter's music is very different.
