OK you can stop hiding again, full marks for recognising the immensity of Get Down, I too was somewhat underwhelmed by Dogntank after some of the rave reviews it got, a 3 star recording at best IMHO

otherwise my listening has been pretty much the same old shit bar Sub Pop 200 which is amusing as it features all the big grunge names but shows that the blueprint existed way before big name bands existed

plus reading Babylons Burning a history of Punk to Grunge which is a good read if only because it starts at about the same time I got into music so I can see how accurate it is, whilst still being off the mark by a mile. Still i did find out that the Rezillos far from being the band wagon hoppers I thought they were are actually quite groundbreaking, time to dig out them scratchy 7"s
