Only recently discovered this, a concept album full of biblical/apocalyptic lyrics combined with MBV -meet Jeff Buckley soundscapes (sort of)

Was rather non-plussed at first, but it's got me now. Anyone else?

Yes. It had some buzz. Has there been any other output?

Bought it on a whim when it was out. Tried. Did nothing for me.

Was quite popular among certain folks, I seem to remember. Many a drunken argument

Yeah, Josh Pearson. He most recently can be heard playing guitar and singing backing vocals on a couple of tracks on the new Bat for Lashes album.

Really like it, though it too took me awhile to dig - possibly due to the OTT Uncut reviews. I think Simon Raymonde/Bella Union should reissue this promptly, in an expanded form with b-sides, out-takes etc, as they're very unlikely to do something new...
