"Momma's Little Jewel" and "Sucker." Both of these tracks are from "All The Young Dudes" but I can't choose between them.

I saw some of Ian Hunter's set at a festival, about three years ago - and I have to say he was okay, then! So, fingers crossed the rest of Mott have held on to skills to equal degree. Of the few songs I caught - arriving late, after getting my tent put up, he did do 'All The Way To Memphis'.

The Moon Upstairs off Brain Capers. A dirty, dirty organ sound all over it. Add the "Were not bleeding you were feeding you but your too fucking slow" lyric and its a winner all round. A long standing drunken shout along favourite.

Thread title nails it for me* + love the similar Saturday Gigs, especially that kiss off line 'And Then We Went to Croydon ' ! Any Mott single will get the thumbs up from me but must admit to a soft spot for The Golden Age Of Rock 'n Roll maybe 'cos it was one of the first non Bolan singles i bought as a spotty teen. * er, where or what the hell is Oriole BTW ? Is it an actual place or a theatre chain or something else entirely ? ( I only know of the bird and the Baltimore sporting connections but they don't fit the context )
