Updating my own musical pursuits: As many of you may now be aware I got kicked out of Neotopia. http://soundcloud.com/neotopia/youll-never-get-to-heaven-alive-1 There are various versions of the reasons behind this, but my enthusiasm and ambition for it all was probably to blame to some extent. I was writing the lyrics, doing the recordings, sorting gigs and other stuff, in addition to playing the drums. Strangely it was, I reckon, other egos and political manœuverings that needed me out of their way, for another band to take shape. It's a long convoluted tale... Sadly for the troublemakers a big dollop of karma dropped on them. So, there they are; trapped in that rehearsal cellar underground, without any sign of anyone interested in rescuing them. I'm now in the early stages of something else. It's looking a darned site more rosy: http://www.myspace.com/kidcalamitycircus http://vimeo.com/15503212

I was confused for more than a year, with the result of that gig. Now, i love it. But i always asked myself, if anyone other could feel the same... The majority of bands there, we're based in the whole Traditions of Kraut- and Freakstuff. More Old School. And our Debut as Newbies was very ambivalent. With the Power inside, to blow up the whole scene there, we felt also really thankful and humble to be a part of it. I always loved Embryo, but it's maybe a bit different. So it was a strange ride with overheating the brake, sometimes ;-) I never met so much lovely Folks - at the same time fantastic performers and listeners too. It was highest Inspiration! Thank You! :-)
