After my initial reservations, I think it is starting to grow on me. I shouldn't be suprised really, this has happened for me with JC albums before, but my initial reaction was so negative this time I didn't think my mind would change. At this rate I'll be absolutely loving it by next week! Just thought I should come clean...

Yeah i kinda agree, Im not a fan of Doggens guitar........works well sometimes but other times it just makes me cringe!

I found it helped to imagine Julian off his face and grinning like a loon while playing it. It sounded much better listening to it through that frame, and also thinking in terms of some weird Norse mindset! Probably won't work for anyone else, but you never know! It really is growing on me now btw - I was iPodding it on me way home. I was enjoying the extreme left/right seperation of bass&drums and guitar on Death Becomes You...
