Cheers KC. My fave gig this year was the Sun Ra Arkestra at the Death and Dumb Institute, Manchester. 2 hour set, covering bebop to abstract, ace musicians and a very happy atmosphere.

Also other great gigs:

A Certain Ratio - Urbis, manchester,
The Fall - manchester academy
Whitehouse - jabez clegg, manchester
Biting Tongues - shunt, London

2009 looks like its going to shape up nicely with the Magazine gig on the 14th Feb.
