I don't get almost every "alternative" act since Nirvana. The way critics talked about them it sounds like I should like it until I actually hear the music and it just sounds half-baked...
I definitely don't understand the appeal of groups like Third Eye Blind, the Goo Goo Dolls or Matchbox 20. They sound no different from Journey, Reo Speedwagon or Boston really, except they're blander...
Not to mention EMO. I can't imagine a subculture more self-destructive or grim. And the music is just AWFUL!

Yeah I never got Nirvana either. Kurt was a six year old in an adult body really. And frankly Nevermind wasn't all that much cop, was it? Too much cutesy stuff going on there...
