(and yes I have suffered enough evenings with people trying, through the medium of playing albums and 'explaining' to me how 'great' they are, to convince me otherwise. Never worked)
However, if it will prevent you on going off on one about metal, goth et al as an act of revenge, I DO like The Doors 8^)

I have tried cHARLIE but it just doesn't move me at all.
Not denying any talent, just not for me mate!
Funnily enough they're from a period which is probably my favourite in music!
