Don't make me quote emails, they're not pretty. I'm not researching this for GNOSIS, you know. So stop asking me to share my info. You guys ACT like sources of information, but yet haven't lifted a finger to look into this yourselves. Even now! Can you possibly relax a little bit? The facts are this: The story of Art Jackson's Atrocity being from 1974 on Columbia Records is a hoax. We did not invent the rumor of Catasto Electtrico being Art Jackson. We did latch onto it. And removed it per your notes to us. You were persuasive. If you read my first note here, I gave you that credit. If you don't want to share any info with the rest of us, then fine, that's your prerogative. We'll research it as well and share what we can. Gnosis is a not a website dedicated to Art Jackson's Atrocity. We are a ratings website that has close to 80,000 albums. All we ever had in this case was a listing that tied the two together. We removed that. There was no writeup or anything else. We consider the matter of Art Jackson and Catasto closed.

First... while many people believe that the "Gout" album is fishy, and probably not on the level for a LOT of different reasons, you're the ONLY one stating for the record - AS A FACT! - that it's a hoax. The FACT is.... you just don't know - even while your busy telling everybody what the facts are. The last time we talked directly, you stated then that "Art Jackson was NEVER heard of before 2007, by anybody." Well... you weren't right then either. Now there's a newspaper article dated 20 years prior. So... could you PLEASE stop stating your theories as FACT when you haven't done the research. As for your attempt to save face by insisting that you ONLY latched on to the rumor of Jackson being Catasto and re-printed it (bad enough that you admit to re-printing rumors before even looking into them), I'll ask you the same question you could NOT answer before. Where's the link? Show us a link, besides yours, that says Art Jackson was perpetrated by Catasto Elettrico. You were convinced enough by said "research" to print it as fact, so it must be detailed info, right? If you're all into sharing research (like you say above)... then share the convincing argument that made you believe Jackson and Catasto were one and the same. Only then can, "the matter of Art Jackson and Catasto" be closed. When the person that started the rumor either provides a source link... or fesses up to starting it.

Well folks, as much as I wanted to believe the story about this amazing album being made in 1974, etc., I have found evidence to the contrary. In the track "Tomato Reign" there's a quote "Fuck her... let her rot" (at about 14m03s). Well, I just discovered that this is an audio clip taken from Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket" (at about 1h48m48s). The movie was released in in 1987, so.... (I had googled the quote, found out that it occurred in the screenplay, watched the movie, and verified that the audio matches exactly). -- Schid.
