I have seen them described as heavy psych and folk rock.
Has anyone heard their albums? Any good?

their 1st s/t one is great, Turkish melodies, fuzz guitar, rocking & grooving.
I've also got one from 1974, 'Hurel Avarsi' which has less fuzz, more trad. grooves but still good.
If you want the Erkin Koray-ish psych, stick with their 1st one.

Another middle-eastern LP/band worth checking out is Israel's KAVARET (espec. their Poogy Tales LP from 1973). Period politics-meets-conceptual Brechtian (or more probably, Python-esque) humour, all dished out in a three-guitar psychedelic fuzz-feast. Some tracks are a little poppy, but at their best they remind me off the 1st Caravan LP travelling east.
