Keep a look out for Chocolate Genius as he has a similarly boundary free album in him I reckon though his records thus far have been more of a modern folk blues thing. Like a grumpy Terry Callier.
I imagine that she is not the only artist stereotyped as r&b or jazz who would like to stretch out into other areas. Of course you have to get out from under the corp umbrella to do that. Like poor old Lewis Taylor - forever snatching failure from the jaws of victory ....
