Bobby Goldsboro's "Summer, The First Time" always takes me back to a summer holiday in North Wales in the early 70s, though I didn't know then what the song was really about. I rememeber me & my sister driving our parents mad with screechy renditions of "Don't Stand so close to me" a few years later, too. TV-wise, I TRULY rememeber my dad (he was a vicar)'s reaction to Marc Bolan. Funny all these memories are linked to holidays. That one was Devon.
