Bloody facists. While I can understand the blocking of torrents that contain official, copyrighted releases, I'd hate them to block sites like dimadozen that shares unofficial, bootleg recordings. Dime is very clear that it only shares unofficial stuff and any artist has the right to say no, they don't want there stuff on there and it is removed immediately.

Would hate to see it go under as I think its a great service. I hope this torrent blocking trend doesn't spread, but then I guess it depends what country you are in and the relevant laws.

It seems to me that quite a lot of artists recognize the spread of peer to peer networks and downloads etc. and rather than kicking against it [which is futile imo] are starting to work with it. Radiohead and even Cliff Richard have recently posted "pay what you want" offers to download their new albums.

I'd be very interested to see how much Radiohead made on selling their album this way.
