It seems EMI have fucked up again, most or all of these were out in mini's from Japan (who know how to make mini-lp sleeves) strangely i dont think a promo-box was made . I also think they did Relics.

EMI may not have been the instigators of the newest edition of Product. Storm Thorgerson who oversaw this newest package indeed did posess a full set of Japanese Mini Sleeves himself, for which there was NO dedicated illustrative box; and claims that these Mini-LP's are ..better...than the japanese cardboard. There is no Relics, and I feel a singular lack of desire amongst Pink Floyd Music Ltd to give the Floyd collectors something that they really want . In the scheme of things I feel £100 approx (what kind of discounting can be achieved?) is not too much to pay for another set of Pink Floyd recordings, as this is the last throes of corporate record company activities I think this is a good collectors item of the future, as 78 Rpm discs made in 1959, 1960 of collectable artists are very collectable (usually these were special orders at the time of the demise of shellac pressings)
