Yes, true, but like a certain proportion of Zep fans, despite the obvious and over-bearing pompus wankery, it's hard not to fall in love with the first five (alright, six) albums. I'd love to hate them, really I would, but I can't bring myself to. When Page was at his most pissed-up-twin-neck-SG-occult-silk-flare-wearing-stupidity it's almost rock perfection at its most ridiculous. Seeing the all-girl cover band Lez Zeppelin last month made me a bit giddy with glee.
If it does happen will it be Phil Collins on drums for a re-enactment of the 'classic' Live Aid performance? :-)
