1. Trout Mask Replica (the argument that it's too long doesn't hold water..just take it as two albums like I do)

2. Lick My Decals off, Baby

3. Doc At The Radar Station

The Bat Chain Puller songs
are not demos, it is a finished
album , due to Frank Zappa's
legal nightmares it never came
out legit ,the Dust Sucker thing
is a boot, though it's the best
sounding version ive heard, apparently
the Zappa family owns the rights,
hope it come's out at some point
as it is WONDERFUL !!!

I'm afraid you're wrong - "Dust Sucker" was an official release

Just to take issue - the beach they played on was in Cannes, not St Tropez - they played there during the 1967 MIDEM festival, which is held at Cannes every year.

The reason why i speak up is that I was there a few years ago and I felt kind of strangely honoured to be at the beach where Beefheart played "Electricity" and "Sure Nuff" - but I never been to St Tropez.

All the releases
that have been
coming out on OZit ,
Morpheus etc: Dust Sucker,
Merseytrout, Magnetic Hands,
and so forth are NOT "Official"
they are not licensed, though they show
up in legit stores and online vendors,
they are pirates, bootlegs !

Ok - I stand corrected - there's been some problems on that side of things with Joy Division, which I am more closely affiliated
