the "batzouki w/ memorial gadgets" (or whatever the hell the cd reish is called" 2 X cd on RRRecords is a great sprawling early electrocacoustic tribute kinda thing on one disk, and loopmania on the other, which doesn't have much of the noise assault people think masami does all the time. It's really great, esp disk 1 w/ marching bands fading in + out, overlaid w/ stockhausen-style blats .//// one of the jewels in his vast discog, and may still even be available.
I've not really kept up, but one of last ones i enjoyed was "hard lovin man", one of his rock tributes ... sounded like i thought sun(((oooo wd sound like, before i realised how lightweight they wer e (on rec at least).

Got a about three or four albums, but the one I really do like and would recommend is- "The Prosperity Of Vice - The Misfortune Of Virtue" - which was released under his own name (Masami Akita).
I prefer this type of material to some of the 'full-on' noise albums.
I prefer it when he dabbles with 'sound' more than 'noise' if you get my drift.

That said, I do like a good blast of "Pulse Demon" and "Space Metalizer" every few months to blow the cobwebs away!

I have "Music for Bondage Performance" and it has a Catchwave style drone to it. There is some wonderful footage of him in a bamboo village in Thailand terrifying the locals with some extreme nastiness
