The first single
White Line Fever/Leaving Here,
i understand came out in France only ?
neither tracks seem to be present
on the new issue of their first album,
where are these versions available ?

They're available on CD on a Skydog compilation, called Skydog Poubelles - The Singles Story. There's loads of other good tracks on there from the Damned, MC5, Flamin Groovies and so on. Probably GEMM, ebay or searching some French sites would be the best way to track it down

Edit: Make sure you get the 23 track version not the 15 track sampler, otherwise you only get one side of the Motorhead single!

Wasn't White Line Fever meant to be a Stiff Records Release but it didnt happen, or was that the Tyla Gang? I remember buying all their single releases religiously and there was a gap. Anyhow it's on A Bunch of Stiffs, on vinyl at least.

There are/were two versions of the Skydog release, one French and one from Scandinavia. The Stiff single was belatedly released as part of a Stiff box set in the 80's.

The versions of White Line Fever on the Skydog and Stiff versions are different takes, albeit from the same sessions as far as I know.
