Blimey, can't believe I'm the only one who voted for Port of Saints (Beautiful Love EP b-side) .... gorgeous psyche pop with bitchy lyrics! Am I the only one who adores this tune? Good to see Kolly Kibber's Birthday in a few lists as well ...

Port of Saints was definitely lined up for my list but I just don't get to listen to it that much. It is a classic though, giving Bill Drummond Said a run for it's money.

There's loads I could've put on my list, if only it went to a top 50 choice! Had to agonise over the last couple.
Better go, chatting about the votes is against the Votemasters rules iirc!

As we said earlier, any alternate versions have been lumped in together as the same song - with the exception of "Ambulence" - which has been separated from "I Come From Another Planet, Baby".
According to my records we've had 45 submissions featuring 168 different songs.
This is enjoyable - but bloody tough!
The appearance and vote charts are similar at the top end. The number one seems to be fluctuating between three or four tracks, but no actual placings until the end!
Still time for the whole thing to completely change!

something has cropped up which makes the votes and counts charts essential
There are four songs that have only had one submission, but in each case that submission has been at the top of the chart.
One song has had just two submissions - BOTH at the top of the chart!

Can we expect Julian to accommodate our top ten into the setlist for those hinted at forthcoming shows?
And is there any truth in the rumour* that the new line-up features a Hammond organ player and a three piece brass section?
