I think it was Here & Now Band + Misty In Roots at Carey Place Youth Centre, Watford in the summer of '77 ( I was 15 ). Me and my mate went down there for a game of pool only to find the place packed with longhairs and dreads. The gig was a freebie,er, it was also a bit fragrant inside too! It remains to this day one of the most memorable gigs I've ever been to. Guess you could call it a formative experience. Outside chance it may have been Thin Lizzy at Hammy Odeon who I saw around that time too.

Buzzcocks / Subway Sect at B'ham Odeon 1978 on the 'Love Bites' tour. Pete Shelley had a stinking cold & Subway Sect played 'Ambition' twice. I wore a school blazer that had only one arm. Punk rock, eh?

Bryan Adams. At Wembley. I was 17. My first boyfriend got me the ticket for my birthday but by the time of the concert we'd split up - oooooh that was a fun night out! T'pau supported and Dave Edmunds made a special guest appearance. I feel a bit sick now having recounted that sorry tale...

That's SO cool! My Mum was in hospital in the same ward as Mickey Finn's mum once and Mickey Finn came in to visit (his mum, not mine but he did say hello to my mum which made her day). Does that count?
