A lovely piece, Keith. Thanks for bringing that to us. I'm glad he had a happy and fulfilling life after his popular years. I would have liked to have seen some of his paintings, but it's not to be. This draws a nice line under this thread.

A dignified farewell. Thank goodness it wasn't marred by any star spotters or press. I've just read the piece that KeithA linked to - I'm afraid I missed you link in all these posts, somewhere. I must say I was most relieved and heartened to hear that for his time since Pink Floyd he had merely stepped out of the limelight, rather than suffering any major pain. And thankyou for sharing these intimate thoughts with us here.
