I didn't want to hear about this or read it! Very sad!
Syd Barrett was one of the main influences of my life, in particular my songs and poems.
He'll never be replaced

True. His silence meant that as far as we all were aware, his creative, mould breaking days were behind him. But still there was hope, while he was still alive that there might have been more. Just something, some little appearance or collaboration somewhere...
