I'm sure they've been mentioned on HH before, but The Ruts were a decent enough band. The reason I mention them now is that I think Babylon's Burning may be as close as I'll ever get to what my ideal single would be.
I've never tired of it.

HOORAH!!!! I love The Ruts!! Have the John Peel Session album!! ;o) (Or rather the ex does as I still haven't picked up my vinyl!)
Something else we both have good taste in, musically.. :o)

Or did I dream it?
I've been playing The Beach Boys Carl & The Passions - So Tough album a few times the last few days.
I'm struggling to think of many songs more beautiful than Cuddle Up.

I don't know if it was here, but it wouldn't surprise me. There is a Ruts Meet (or versus) The Mad Professor album that worked well in parts.
